113 New Dengue Cases Reported In Islamabad, Running Total Crosses 1000

Islamabad: The federal capital recorded 113 new dengue cases in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the current season to 1056, ARY News reported by quoting District Health Officer (DHO) Zaeem Zia.

According to DHO Islamabad Dr. Zaeem Zia’s reports, 58 of the total 113 cases were recorded in rural areas of the city, while the remaining 55 were reported from urban premises.

The total number of dengue cases has increased to 1056, including four people who died from the viral disease. The federal capital reported 72 new dengue cases yesterday, which brings the total to 943.

Dr. Zaeem clarified that 11 patients were admitted to the PIMS hospital Islamabad in the last 24 hours, three to the Federal General Hospital, fourteen to the Holy Family Hospital, five to the BBH Rawalpindi, five to the DHQ Rawalpindi, three to the CDA Hospital, and twelve to the PolyClinic Islamabad.
