On Monday, the price of software and in-app purchases on Apple Inc.’s App Store will rise in a number of countries, including Pakistan, Malaysia, Japan, and all territories that use the euro.
On October 5, Apple revealed the updated prices in a blog post, excluding auto-renewable subscriptions.
According to the company, these changes will take into consideration new legislation mandating Apple in Vietnam to collect and pay proper taxes at rates of 5% for both corporate income tax (CIT) and value-added tax (VAT).
The “pricing and availability” section of My Apps will be updated once these changes take effect, according to the blog post.
You may always change the price of your apps and in-app purchases, including subscriptions that automatically renew, under App Store Connect. It said that if you offer subscriptions, you may chose to keep current customers’ prices the same.
