Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, climbed one spot to third in the most current ICC T20I batting rankings.
Babar struck the game-winning fifty against New Zealand in the recently concluded T20 World Cup semifinal.
The skipper, on the other hand, did not have a good start to the competition, scoring only 39 runs in the Super 12 stage, bringing criticism from both spectators and other experts.
He scored 32 runs in the title game, but Pakistan was unable to prevent England from winning.
Babar was only able to score 124 runs total during the tournament, with an average of 17.71 and a strikeout rate of 93.23 innings.
