Sydney, September 27 – Bitcoin reached $20,000 for the first time in almost a week on Tuesday, as cryptocurrencies and other risky assets climbed in Asian trade.
Bitcoin, the most valued cryptocurrency by market value, was up more than 5% at $20,286. The second-largest cryptocurrency, ether, rose 4% to a one-week high of $1,389.
Following fresh highs on Monday, the dollar dropped slightly in the overall market.
