Emirates Airlines has announced that the world’s first robotic check-in system will be operational at Dubai International Airport this year. “Sara,” the Emirates check-in robot, will assist tourists from all around the world and speak at least six different languages.
Sara, the check-in robot, will assist tourists from all around the world and speak at least six languages.
According to an Emirates official, the check-in robot would be able to assist passengers in a variety of ways. This now includes everything from passenger check-in to hotel reservations, among other things.
According to an Emirates spokesperson, the company chose to build “Sara” after seeing that, while traveller needs are continually evolving, airports have not. This is why Emirates has stepped forward to assist clients with the use of cutting-edge technologies.
Emirates created the check-in robot in collaboration with its partners, who will produce approximately 200 of them and put them at all Dubai airports over the next year.
When competition heats up, when an airline launches such cutting-edge technology, other airlines will follow suit and put out more effective systems. As a result, global travel is set to experience a revolution.
