Facebook Reaches Two Billion Active Users, Breaking A New Record

Facebook had a record 2.93 billion users in the third quarter of the year, up 4% year on year.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has released its Q4 2022 earnings report. According to Meta’s analysis, Facebook has topped 2 billion daily active users, a new high.

This information comes as Meta is grappling with a number of concerns, including legal challenges to its advertising policies, increased competition from other social media platforms, and a declining stock price.

This data gives the company a sigh of comfort because it shows that both new and existing users are routinely interacting with the service, which has been suffering as a result of TikTok’s increased popularity.

There were around 2.93 billion daily active Facebook users at the end of Q4, down from roughly 2.96 billion in the third quarter. Furthermore, it was revealed that Facebook would expand by 4% year on year in 2022.
