The official hymn of the FIFA World Cup 2022, Dreamers, now has a music video. The song is about respect and features BTS members Jungkook and Fahad Al Kubaisi.
BTS member Jungkook performed this year’s official World Cup hymn Dreamers live at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022 on Sunday. The official music video for the song was released on Tuesday. It has been performed by both Jungkook and Qatari musician Fahad Al Kubaisi. More information is available here: Jungkook stole the show during the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony.
The first shot of the song video shows Jungkook exiting an extravagant hallway with a shimmering ceiling while dressed in white. As the music begins, he begins to move towards the light. Fahad Al Kubaisi, a singer, appears aboard a ship and sings along. Jungkook also dances and mimics steps in the film while surrounded by people of various ethnicities and races in Qatar. The song also emphasized the term “respect.”
Whale shark motifs act as a metaphor for the world cup host country in the film. It’s worth noting that the whale also served as a metaphor for BTS Army followers, reminding them that they are not alone.
Jungkook also makes an appearance and does a dance atop a helipad on a tower. As he walks to the beat, flags from various FIFA World Cup 2022 participant nations are shown in the background, his unusual all-black attire adds to the visual appeal of the song.
A fan said after the song video was released, “Bangtan is once again encouraging and unifying people all over the world.”
The (smile) grin of Jungkook! Another fan stated, “He was having a great time singing this song.
Last week, footage and photographs of Jungkook from the Seoul airport surfaced online. He was on his way to Qatar for his opening ceremony performance. RM, the leader of BTS, will soon release Indigo, his first solo album. BTS is made up of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
