Find My Doctor, a Pakistani health company that provides remote healthcare solutions, has opened the country’s first digital hospital. The Digital Hospital was officially launched on Thursday, October 20th, at an event held at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi.
The event was attended by a lot of celebrities, including the main guests Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Shehzad Roy, and Zahra Khan. During the opening ceremony, Barrister Murtaza Wahab stated that the Municipal Corporation would supply the facilities in collaboration with the private sector.
“This is a hugely exciting and critical milestone for us,” said Saad Siddique, the founder and CEO of Find My Doctor, of the launch.
Our mission has always been to use technology to develop and advance the healthcare sector in Pakistan. The Digital Hospital brings us one step closer to providing people from all walks of life with accessible, low-cost, high-quality healthcare.
Find My Doctor, a healthcare company, was started in 2016. Its system acts as a conduit between patients, trustworthy and well-respected laboratories, and PMC-verified providers.
Their primary purpose is to provide outstanding medical facilities for your convenience. Healthcare is an important sector all throughout the world, but Pakistan has been ignoring it for far too long.
Furthermore, it is one of the largest and fastest-growing worldwide sectors. We are here to improve the world and thrive in ways that will benefit not only ourselves, but all future generations.
Many Pakistanis are unable to acquire inexpensive and efficient healthcare solutions because healthcare costs are rising and hospitals are overloaded. As a result, demand for universal access to high-quality, inexpensive healthcare has recently increased.
This has been exacerbated by increased living costs caused by inflation, as well as disease spread as a result of the most recent catastrophic floods.
He stated that Sarfraz Rafiqui Shaheed Hospital was receiving digital equipment, which will transform the medical centre into a full-service database hospital.
The hospital will provide a 24-hour online outpatient department (OPD) service, allowing people to get free medical advice without leaving their homes.
Find My Doctor will provide free telemedicine consultations to all Karachi residents. The teleconsultations will also allow the corporation to collect a massive amount of unstructured data, which will be utilised by government institutions to better plan their healthcare budgets, identify disease clusters, and establish stronger, more effective healthcare policies.
It will also aid in the discovery of underlying healthcare issues in society and assist the healthcare sector to determine which disease areas to focus on.
Find My Doctor is on a quest to use cutting-edge technology to change Pakistan’s healthcare sector.
The healthcare organisation strives to expand access to and affordability of high-quality medical care through its team of competent specialists who have been approved by the Pakistan Medical Commission.
All of the certified doctors on the app have been approved by the Pakistan Medical Association. It includes qualifications, hours of availability, prices, and other information about 1,800 doctors. The application allows users to save and track up to ten years of medical history.
Saad Siddique created the company after his mother died as a result of a poor healthcare management system in 2012. He claimed that after his mother died, he felt compelled to act and assist the country’s substandard healthcare management system.
The company has just launched a new service dubbed “Lab Test at Home.” The service is built in such a way that blood is extracted from the patient at home for a lab test. You will receive an SMS and an email within 24-48 hours informing you that your test results are ready. To access the results of your lab report, simply log in.
