- There were no good relations between nations at the time, and Pakistani actors were barred.
Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi is now starring in The Legend of Maula Jatt, a Pakistani blockbuster feature film that has made over 100 crore both locally and internationally.
He mentioned rejecting two Bollywood films during bilal lashari’s promotional events. The actor made it clear that he rejected down the opportunity to work on the Bollywood film “Judwa 2” with Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Taapsee Pannu.
The Pyarey Afzal actor claimed that Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala contacted him for the role but that he turned it down for a variety of reasons, the most important of which is that India and Pakistan do not have good relations with one another.
Pakistani actors were barred from working in the Hindi cinema industry about the same period. The veteran actor cited these as his two key reasons for shunning big-budget Bollywood productions.
