According to Marriyum Aurangzeb, the information minister, Imran Khan, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), wanted martial law implemented on the country.
Imran’s “bloody march,” she alleged in a statement, was responsible for the deaths of innocent people because he was bent on producing turmoil and unrest to gratify his ego in completing ulterior aims.
She said that even though the foreign-funded mischief felt bad about missing the chance to choose the new army chief, it was Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s constitutional right to do so.
The stain of dishonor was abundantly visible on his [Imran’s] face, she added, Imran Khan is a crook, dacoit, liar, incompetent, and foreign-funded fitna. The public is well aware of this. Imran’s schemes will fail.
She questioned Imran’s failure to produce any supporting evidence for the false cases launched against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a court of law by the PTI government.
She questioned why his government had arrested him on a bogus drug possession charge if Rana Sanaullah was a murderer, and she asked to see the evidence, including any recordings, that they had purportedly gathered against the interior minister.
According to Marriyum, Imran Khan’s administration allowed Nawaz Sharif, the head of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), to travel abroad. She went on, It’s too late to talk about that right now.
According to the minister, while Imran was in office, he employed false language about holding opponents accountable while simultaneously handing the army head a lifetime extension to cover up his administration’s faults.
She added that Pakistan PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s call for martial law reflected his “fascist” and “autocratic” worldview.
