Apple has recently picked the unexpected yet dazzling yellow as the 2018 iPhone colour of the year. The yellow iPhone has a lovely appearance and gloss, making it a perfect successor to the green iPhone from the previous year.
The new yellow hue will be available among the current five colours of midnight, starlight, red, blue, and purple.
The back glass panel of the iPhone is a bright yellow that mixes the mild yellow of the iPhone 11 with the deep yellow of the iPhone XR. The yellow colour earns a lot of credit for the rear panel’s exceptional reflected properties.
If you looked closely at the iPhone, you’d see that the aluminium frame has a vibrant yellow colour similar to the distinctive iPhone X tint. This is a feature not found in other versions.
Although the colour option looks amazing this year, it will only be available on the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models, not the iPhone 14 Pro variations. The new yellow tint will be added to the current five colours of midnight, starlight, red, blue, and purple.
The colour of the year model, like all previous models, will only have a change in colour and the same hardware and software.
In addition to the iPhone 14, Apple is releasing some stunning new silicone phone cases for all iPhone 14 versions. Color selections for the $49 phone cases include Canary Yellow, Olive, Sky, and Iris.
