Did you know that Hania Aamir, the well-known Mere Humsafar actress, is only a 12th-passed actress? She didn’t even complete high school. In a recent interview, the actress revealed the heartbreaking reason she stopped school.
Hania Aamir appeared on Fahad Mustafa’s The Fourth Umpire Show, where she admitted to dropping out of college in the middle: Maybe I haven’t talked about my academics for a reason, I’m a college dropout.
I was a good student, but I got into acting, and I started making money, and I also needed money at the time since I had to run my house, she insisted. I was the family’s sole breadwinner; I entered acting and was fortunate to know acting, which is how it all came about, she explained.
She continued to have success by acting in the comedy-drama Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017) and the aerial combat-war Parwaaz Hai Junoon (2018), both of which are among the highest-grossing Pakistani movies, and won acclaim for her portrayal in the 2019 romantic Anaa. Her debut film, Janan, helped launch her career. Her appearances in the dramas Mere Humsafar, Dilruba, Titli, Mujey Pyar Hua Tha, and Ishqiya raised her profile.
