Imran Khan, the former prime minister and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has claimed that the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in Karachi will open by the end of 2023.
When publishing photos of the facility on Twitter, Imran Khan revealed that the SKMH Karachi will be double the size of Lahore and will have cutting-edge cancer technology.
MashaAllah Shaukat Khanum Karachi is planned to open at the end of this year, despite all the hurdles the building sector has experienced and the difficulty importing cancer equipment. The former premier tweeted that SKMT Karachi will be twice as big as Lahore and have cutting-edge cancer equipment.
It is worth noting that the hospital’s construction, which is located in Karachi’s Defense Housing Authority (DHA) area, began formally in 2016.
The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust was founded in remembrance of PM Imran Khan’s mother, Shaukat Khanum, who died of cancer in 1985. The charity has developed hospitals, research institutions, and labs in many locations of Pakistan.
