Emirates Group, one of the main airline holding corporations, has guaranteed a 24-week salary bonus to roughly 100,000 employees following its most profitable year ever.
In the company’s 2022-23 annual report, an annual profit of AED 10.9 billion ($3 billion) was announced, a major rise from the previous year’s losing position.
According to Khaleej Times, Emirates has failed to comment. Some employees have reported receiving emails from Chairman and Chief Executive Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum congratulating them on the company’s success and assuring them that a bonus will be added to their salary in May.

Sheikh Ahmed also advised the workforce in his email on how to maximize their bonus by saving, investing, or utilizing it effectively.
Depending on their particular basic income, each employee will get 24 weeks or six months of basic pay. Some staff expressed relief and excitement after learning the news.
They reported that COVID-19 was a terrible period for them and that nothing was improving in their lives.
On Thursday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s vice president and prime minister, congratulated Emirates Group on its success, saying it reflected Dubai’s spirit.
