Black Mirror, a Twilight Zone-inspired anthology television series, uses technology to give societal commentary on current events. The anthology show depicts a civilization that is heavily reliant on technology in a variety of ways.
The teaser teases the following five stories: Joan Is Awful, Loch Henry, Beyond the Sea, Mazey Day, and Demon 79.
Every story revolves on a different, unpleasant reality. The first film stars Salma Hayek Pinault and Annie Murphy from Schitt Creek.
In Joan Is Awful, the latter plays the lead part and finds out that her life has been turned into a series by an OTT service called Streamberry. In the show, Salma plays Joan.
The series will star Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Paapa Essiedu, Myha’la Herrold, Monica Dolan, Samuel Blenkin, Zazie Beetz, Rob Delaney, and Rory Culkin.
Season six will see the return of the anthology, which will feature five new stories.
