New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson noted on Tuesday that Pakistan and Bangladesh are two difficult T20 teams.
Pakistan will play a tri-nation series against Bangladesh and New Zealand beginning on October 7. (Friday).
Williamson expressed delight at the prospect of competing in the tri-series against two elite teams in the game’s shortest format.
The skipper said that this series will enhance his team’s preparation for the huge T20 World Cup, stressing that warm-up games would follow the series.
Cricketer Mitchell Santner believes that playing Bangladesh and the Men in Green will help the Kiwis gain momentum. Our group contains excellent players, and we’ve focused on all fields, he remarked.
Pakistan’s series opener is against Bangladesh, while the championship game is scheduled on October 14.
