The Foreign Office said on Monday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will go to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for an official visit on October 24. (today).

According to the announcement, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman has invited Prime Minister Shehbaz to visit the kingdom.

During his visit to Riyadh, the premier will meet with the Saudi crown prince to assess their long-standing friendship and discuss ways to enhance their numerous areas of cooperation, particularly in the economy.

The prime minister will also attend the Saudi Future Investment Initiative Summit, according to the release.

The Saudi crown prince will visit Pakistan in November. The visit was made following the announcement that Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman would visit Pakistan in November.

PM Shehbaz extended an invitation to the prince during a recent phone chat. The leaders discussed important matters of mutual concern, as well as the flood situation in Pakistan.

It would be the crown prince’s first visit to Pakistan since the country’s new administration took power in April of this year. The host government and the crown prince will discuss bilateral, regional, and global matters of mutual interest.
