Aur Sunao - Pakistan Now Operates Asia’s Largest UAE Visa Center

It was revealed on Friday that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) set up the largest visa office in Asia in a city in the south of Pakistan.

The visa centre has 11 counters for people’s convenience, and 200 UAE visas will be issued to nationals each day. The visa centre will offer exceptional consular services in compliance with the most recent global best practises.

The construction of the centre has brought comfort to the inhabitants, who have expressed relief at the emirate’s gesture.

According to UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al Remethi, who commented on the development, the centre was established to save time.

He emphasised that the UAE is home to 1.7 million Pakistanis and that there are no visa restrictions in any region.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah welcomed United Arab Emirates Consul General Bakheet Al Romaithi’s offer to visit the UAE visa centre earlier in the day.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister thanked the UAE government for establishing the best visa centre and making life simpler for its inhabitants.

The Chief Minister also toured the visa centre while the UAE Consul General briefed him on its features.

It is worth noting that the UAE has the world’s second-largest number of Pakistanis residing abroad.

According to State Bank of Pakistan data, the amount of money sent from the UAE to Pakistan in fiscal year 2022 was $2555.22 million, indicating that a sizable number of Pakistanis work there in a variety of industries such as banking, real estate, and insurance.

Given that both Pakistan and the UAE are Muslim countries, they have strong ties. Furthermore, the UAE government has previously helped Pakistan navigate its economic crisis.
