According to news reports that broke earlier today, famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is reportedly planning a trip to Pakistan to help flood victims.
A terrible monsoon season recently hit Pakistan, resulting in unprecedented floods that drove over 30 million people to abandon their homes.
Jolie hasn’t made any public statements so far, but there are rumours that she has applied for a visa to visit the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Angelina was seen prior to the terrible floods that devastated several areas of Pakistan earlier in 2010.
Jolie is well-versed in the South Asian area, having visited Pakistan three times to raise awareness of the suffering of Afghan refugees.
Hadiqa Kiani, who established the Vaseela-e-raah campaign, is one of several Pakistani celebrities working to gather funds for flood relief.
Prior to this, Jemima Goldsmith auctioned off her film What’s Love Got to Do With It to help with the flooding.
