The seventh census will conclude at midnight tomorrow, leaving only one day to complete the operation. According to April census data, the country now has a population of more than 224 million people.
Karachi’s population is estimated to be over 15 million people. Sindh Province has a population of approximately 49.3 million people.
Only 92% of the census in Karachi has been done. In comparison, the census has been completed in 99% of the country.
Hyderabad Division has 11.2 million residents, Karachi Division has 14.9 million, Larkana Division has 7.2 million, Mirpur Khas Division has 4.7 million, Shaheed Benazirabad Division has 5.6 million, and Sukkur Division has 6.1 million.
