Aur Sunao - Rizwan And Babar

Mohammad Rizwan tied skipper Babar Azam’s record for the fastest 2,000 runs in T20 Internationals on Tuesday.

The England cricket team trounced Pakistan by six wickets in the first Twenty20 International of the seven-match series on Tuesday in Karachi, capping off their 17-year exile from the country in dramatic fashion.

Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan’s opener, blasted 68 runs off 46 balls, enabling Pakistan set a target of 158; however, English opener Alex Hales dashed Pakistan’s hopes by winning victory.

Rizwan equaled Babar’s record and became the second-fastest player to achieve 2,000 runs in T20 after scoring 68 runs in his 52nd innings of a T20 match against England.

Previously, skipper Babar Azam broke Indian star Virat Kohli’s T20I record by amassing the quickest 2,000 runs in 52 innings. Kohli held the previous record for 56 innings.
