Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman, made a new record by being the first person to score the most runs in a bilateral T20I series.
Pakistan defeated England in the fifth Twenty20 International of the seven-match series. The Green Shirts won by six runs against the English squad.
Rizwan’s beautiful play continued unabated, as he added another 63 points from 46 balls.
With his half-century, Rizwan has became the first batter in bilateral T20I series history to score the most runs.
Rizwan has scored 315 runs in the first five games of the seven-match series against England, and he still has to play in the following two.
Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam, previously established this record against South Africa in 2021, reaching 210 runs in four innings.
Rizwan has also eclipsed Leslie Dunbar of Serbia, who scored 284 runs in four innings against Bulgaria.
