The Sindh government announced the launch of an electric taxi service in Karachi on Wednesday. According to Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon, the taxi service would commence in the new fiscal year.
He said that with the debut of Karachi’s electric taxi service, the youth would have jobs. He stated that in the first phase, 150 taxis would be introduced.
Ladies will have their own pink taxis, which will also be operated by ladies. It was suggested that men’s cabs be painted crimson.
