  • Several cases were reported to Karachi police stations.
  • They were filed because Altaf Hussain’s venomous remarks were made feasible.
  • The court also cleared Javed Rahim, Mehmood Abdul Razzaq, and Amir Khan.

On Wednesday, an anti-terrorism court exonerated six MQM-P leaders, including Farooq Sattar, the head of the organization’s restoration committee, in three cases involving provocative speech.

According to the authorities, the charges were first reported at several Karachi police stations in 2016.

As a result of their involvement in and listening to party leader Altaf Hussain’s divisive and offensive words, cases were brought against the party leaders.

The court cleared Farooq Sattar, Waseem Akhtar, Khawaja Izharul Hassan, Javed Rahim, Mehmood Abdul Razzaq, and Amir Khan.

Salman Mujahid Baloch was cleared in two cases, while Abdur Rauf Siddiqui and Qamar Mansoor were cleared in one.
