The seventh and last season of the high school drama Riverdale is ready to air on Netflix after many ups and downs and chaos. The show is expected to premiere on the main streaming service in 2023.
Ted Sullivan, the show’s writer and co-executive producer, updated the public on the drama’s production on Instagram.
He posted a photo of the slate that dominates the opening scene of the previous season. Sullvion mentioned in his caption that “such a fantastic season” will be available to fans soon.
Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa was also recognised for his contributions to the show’s success.
Although the premise of the new season is yet unknown, Aguirre-Sacasa has only revealed that the first episode would be titled “Don’t Worry, Darling.”
Riverdale’s first season, which premiered in 2017, focuses on a group of high school students struggling with a lot while solving a murder mystery that shocked the city.
The show’s outrageous plot lines, which included a D&D-style game that eventually went evil, annual musical episodes, the universe, and much more, contributed to its popularity among both viewers and non-viewers.
