Karachi traffic police released a traffic diversion plan yesterday for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) games that will be held at the National Stadium from February 14 to February 26, 2023.

Details indicate that media vehicles travelling from Karsaz should park at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground, which are both accessible via the Stadium Flyover from Sir Shah Suleman Road and Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road.

The China Ground’s National Coaching Centre is located on Sir Shah Sulaiman Road, to the right of the stadium flyover on Pir Sabghatullah Shah Rashidi Road, where media vehicles arriving from Millennium Mall should park after passing Stadium Road.

Following parking on Sir Shah Sulaiman Road to the left of Aga Khan Hospital via Stadium Road, media vehicles travelling from New Town should turn right onto Sir Shah Sulaiman Road (Pir Sabghatullah Shah Rashidi Road).

Thanks to the department’s provisions, fans from all over the city can park in Dalmia, adjacent to the Gharib Nawaz Football Ground.

To park, spectators must present their original identification cards and match tickets. A shuttle will take them to the National Stadium from the location.

The department has closed the road between Liaquatabad No. 10 and Hassan Square Bridge to traffic due to security concerns.

Similarly, while vehicles can continue to travel from Stadium Road to Hassan Square, they will not be permitted to enter the stadium from the Expo Centre’s turn onto University Road.

From the Stadium Signal to Hassan Square, people will not be allowed to drive fast. People should work with law enforcement and traffic cops to avoid getting into trouble.
