On February 19, the LUMS celebrated “Bollywood Day,” with students dressed as “iconic” Bollywood movie characters. The internet was flooded with footage of the students, including Chul Panday, Devdas, Aamir Khan from Lagaan, and Chota Pandit from Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Students observed celebrating “Bollywood Day” were the subject of a Twitter meme storm. Numerous people objected to the idea of such holidays, while some claimed that youngsters needed breaks because they couldn’t learn all the time in classes.
