Meta’s WhatsApp has been introducing new features and improving the interface for PC users.
The desktop app can now create polls, and the software’s most recent version will soon allow users to see status updates within their chat list.
According to WABetaInfo, the feature is now available to a restricted number of beta testers with the most recent upgrade to the desktop version of the social messaging service.
The capability was originally made accessible to beta users following improvements to Android 2.22.19.17 and iOS 22.18.0.70 that allowed users to view status updates directly in the chat list.
“Users can simply check those who posted a status update within the status section and see if a ring around the profile photo appears within the chat list to determine if the feature is activated after an update,” WABetaInfo explained.
If the most recent WhatsApp feature is not yet available to you, it will be once it is rolled out to all users.
