Elon Musk wants to replace the Twitter logo with a ‘X’ after renaming the firm ‘X Corp’ and alleging that it should have been done years ago.
We have come to appreciate and love a digital bird named “Larry,” who wears the blue Twitter emblem and was launched only four years ago, in addition to all other real-life bird species. Despite being adored by all Twitter users, Larry’s tenure on the platform appears to be coming to an end.
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter or, should we say, “X Corp,” recently announced that he may replace the Twitter logo with a “X,” adding that the change should have been done a long time ago.
Elon Musk recently tweeted, And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds, implying a change in direction. Later that day, Musk posted another Tweet, this time with only a blinking ‘X’.
The owner was asked whether they were changing the Twitter logo in response to a Twitter user’s question about Musk’s most recent remarks. “Yes,” Musk replied, it should have been done a long time ago.
Twitter’s newly hired Chief Executive Officer, “Linda Yaccarino,” also confirmed the statement, adding, Twitter created one enormous impression and transformed the way we interact. X will now progress and alter the world’s town square.
From GoodOl’ Twitter To A Super App?
According to sources, Musk redesigned Twitter as part of his intentions to turn it into a “super app,” a word popular in Asia. A super app is essentially a platform that provides numerous services, such as payments, social media, e-commerce, and so on, all in a single app.
Musk wants to rebrand Twitter as “X” and turn it into a formidable app similar to China’s WeChat.
