In an interview with Jim Cramer on CNBC, Enrique Lores, the CEO of HP, said that the company is working hard to make PCs that can use AI. Enrique Lores, the CEO of HP, has said that the company is making fully AI-enabled PCs that will change the PC market and have a big effect not only on HP but also on the technology industry as a whole.
We think it’s likely that a new type of PCs will be made, which will give the market a big shake-up. Lores told CNBC’s Jim Cramer, “AI is going to help us change what a PC is. Customers will have very different experiences, and we are working with all of the key software vendors and key silicon providers to change how a PC is built.”
Lores discussed these remarkable new AI-enabled PCs in the same interview, noting that they will radically change the way users interact with spreadsheets and data since the capability of AI systems will allow users to spend less time manually evaluating data than they would otherwise.
Doesn’t it seem unbelievable that these AI systems can analyze data, create spreadsheets, and even deliver insights on data in a matter of seconds? The user merely needs to go over the insights.
When considering the technology, one could believe that it will be available later in the decade, but the HP CEO claims that the AI PCs will be available as early as 2024.
Jim, I’ve been in this business for a long time. According to HP‘s CEO, the opportunity to actually push innovation and new types of customer needs that we truly believe will be fundamental has never presented itself to me.
