KARACHI, Pakistan — Mufti Ismail Menk, one of the most well-known Islamic clerics on social media, has arrived in Pakistan amid devastation caused by floods that have transformed a third of the country into an inland sea.
Millions of Muslims throughout the world admire the well-known speaker, who arrived in Sindh, the worst-affected province by the record flood, and began working on the ground to help people in need.
In one of the videos on his official Instagram, the Zimbabwe-born and -raised scholar can be seen visiting a flood-affected district in Sindh, Jhuddo.
