The trailer for Bilal Lashari’s The Legend of Maula Jatt had over 60 million views on social media before the film’s debut.
The preview has received a tonne of positive feedback from viewers across all social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
With a cast that includes Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed, and others, the movie is reportedly one of Pakistan’s most expensive productions.
Some of Pakistan’s most well-known vocalists, such as Ali Azmat and Faris Shafi, are also included in The Legend of Maula Jatt.
The most expensive Punjabi-language movie to be released in the near future is Yunus Malik’s recreation of the timeless Maula Jatt from 1979.
The screenplay was written by Bilal Lashari, but the dialogue was written by Nasir Adeeb.
The Legend of Maula Jatt will now be released on October 13, 2022, rather than the planned date of 2019.
